We will be happy to offer you a free quotation at a convenient time, when one of our removal consultants or manager will be able to assess the size and scope of your move requirements. They will be able to talk you through the removal process and answer any questions that you may have.
After the details of your particular move have been assessed, you will received a written quotation. This will help you to compare the different levels of services and costs against quotations from other removals companies.
Once you have read our terms and conditions and decide to use our services all you need to do is complete and sign back the duplicate copy of the quotation to us.
It would also be very helpful if you telephone us to reserve your removal date pending of your signed copy quotation. We will then send you a confirmation. On the day of your move, our removal crew will start at 8.00am, meeting at our Big Move warehouse to discuss your move and equip the vehicles with the appropriate materials and tools to help make your move as smooth as possible.
If you have decided to use our packing service we will arrange with you to arrive a day before a completion date as the packing households effects in to boxes can take up to a day.
Once the monies have exchanged and you have collected the keys you will find us waiting outside your new home, as the earlier we can start the earlier we can complete your removal.
The removal crew will place each box in its allocated room and all of the furniture will be unwrapped and placed in designated areas. Any furniture, which needs to be reassembled will be done before we leave your new home. Once the vehicles have been emptied, swept and blankets folded, a check will be carried out to ensure there are no items which have been left in the lorries. We will then give you our moving certificate and questionare for the comments of move.

Shipments by Sea
Sea freight is a cost-effective way of sending your consignment to the other side of the world. For International moving our Customers can choose from sending their consignment in a 20 ft or 40 ft container for their sole use or can "share" a container with other Big Move Group customers moving to the same destination. Sharing a container is particularly cost effective, if you are moving less than a full house.
Sharing a container is a very popular way of transporting home effects, however transit times are longer than utilising a container for sole use, as there is a period of consolidation at our International Shipping Company Centre in Thailand.
The process to send a shipment direct by sea is relatively simple. After packing is completed, your Big Move representative will have arranged for a container to be delivered to your home. Your household effects will be loaded straight into the container, which will then be sealed and trucked to the port.
If you are using the consolidation or shared load service, your consignment will be taken to a Lawlers consolidation centre and will be loaded into the container with other consignments travelling to the same destination.
